1. Did you choose the writing profession or did it choose you? I believe we found each other if it's meant to happen it's meant to happen and one day I think I just finally noticed how much I enjoy writing and I decided to follow my heart and gut instinct and go for it and here I am today 18 years old with eight things published 2 essays 6 poems through many various websites that thought I was talented enough to be published.
I'm going to be a senior next year at themes valley I used to work at TLC childcare and now I work at my school tutoring kids in English and I also work at payless shoe source
I think I knew all along it just took some courage to realize it I had to get the courage to know that I was a talented writer and once I got my first poem published I knew that writing was for me
My own just like Edgar Allen Poe said some writers are just able to write depressing poems some are just able to write happy joyful things I'm able to write all different styles depending on my mood so I would call it my own because I don't just fit into one category My writing process depends on my mood but overall I don't have any particular writing process to begin with.
I would look all different kinds of contest up on the internet and I entered every last one and the ones I was accepted into I would continue entering but the ones that I never heard back from I tried that much harder to get accepted and I tried and tried until I was.
I personally don't have one.
That some places I was talented enough to win contest and they would even invite me to be a judge and that some places weren't even interested enough in my writing that I wasn't even contacted again because they weren't interested at all.
I really don't have any sources of creativity inspiration finds me and I just write what comes to mind at that time and turn it into a masterpiece later on.
When I have finished a poem and I know in my heart of hearts that I have tried my hardest and put my best effort forward and it is finished and a masterpiece ready to be shown to the world not just myself any longer.
To just keep writing!!! it can't make you worse only can help you become a more advanced writer it was giving to me by my English professor and how true is that advice think about it it's short sweet easy to understand and honest.
Probably being rejected for my first time by a publishing company.
None, none at all The same as my advice given to me by my English professor just keep writing it can't make you worse only help you become an more advanced writer!!!
Things like I'm doing right now more things to get me noticed and out there or more writing because writing is fun!!!
Edgar Allen Poe
To just keep trying don't give up on yourself even if others do.
