2. What is your background? (education, work, etc.) Doctorate in physics, professor (emeritus) of computer science with The University of Western Ontario
3. When did you ‘know’ you were a writer? In high school
4. How would you describe your style of writing? Concise, accurate
5. What is your writing process? The plot comes to me, then I structure it in a logical manner
6. What was your path to publication? E-book first, 2 self-published, then 2 published
7. What is your favorite self-marketing idea? Talking to people, offering some of my short stories for free
8. What are the biggest surprises you’ve encountered as a writer? People seem to enjoy my novels!
9. How do you inspire yourself? What are your sources of creativity? What happened around the world, my life experience
10. What is your proudest writer moment? When I finish a novel
11. What’s the best advice you were given about writing? Keep doing it!
12. What is your most embarrassing writer moment? When I find an error in a novel already published
13. What business challenges have you faced as a writer? Realizing it does not produce much income
14. What is your writer life philosophy? Write if you enjoy doing it
15. When you’re not writing what do you do for fun? Playing tennis, golfing, gardening

17. What’s your advice for new writers? Try to find a friend writer who can offer objective criticism
